Witches Falls

One of the most famous attractions in Mt. Tamborine is Witches Falls. The falls are named so because of the oddly shaped branches that look like a witch’s broom. There are two primary waterfalls – Upper Witches Falls and Lower Witches Falls. The Upper Witches Falls is about 48 metres tall, while the Lower Witches Falls is about 32 metres tall. Witches Falls is a must-visit place in Mt. Tamborine. You can visit any time of the year, but the best time to go there is during the rainy season. During that time, the waterfall gets double the water flow, making it a spectacular place.

Cedar Creek Winery

The Cedar Creek winery is one of the most popular go-to places in Mt. Tamborine. This place was opened in 2006 and has been growing in popularity ever since. The Cedar Creek winery is a beautiful garden and vineyard that produces a variety of wines and other beverages. This winery is a perfect place for a family getaway or a group outing. It’s also a nice place for a romantic date. 

Apart from sampling delicious wines, the surprise element is the Glow warm cave. Glow worms are a rare species only found in Australia and Newzealand. Thunderbird Park

This is another must-visit place in Mt. Tamborine. It’s one of the oldest and most famous parks in the township. Thunderbird Park has a rich history and was named so because of the thundering sound of the waterfalls nearby. There’s also the Tamborine Mountain Country Markets at the Village, which are on the second Sunday of every month.
